Thanks to Exotic Myanmar, what a wonderful and memorable experience!
Having explored the more popular places in Myanmar (i.e., Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake) with Exotic Myanmar Travel and Tours in 2024, I decided on a return trip in 2025 to visit some of the country's more out-of-the-way places. Over the course of nine days, Exotic Myanmar guided me to Kyaiktiyo (Golden Rock), Mawlamyine, Hpa-An, Bago and Taunggi. What a wonderful and memorable experience! Guide Mr. Than and Driver Mr. Soe were unfailingly resourceful, enlightening and fun to travel with. They knew well the most interesting sights and best restaurants. A special thanks goes to Theingi Soe back at the office. She helped ensure the tour was safe, well organized and interesting. Fabulous tour provided by Exotic Myanmar Travel & Tours. Book with them directly and avoid Tourradar/Legend Travel.
I just completed a 10 day tour of The Temples and Lakes of Myanmar using Exotic Myanmar Tours and Travel. It was terrific. I was the only traveler on the tour and treated like a VIP by the guide and driver. Mr. Than and Mr. So were terrific in every way. I felt totally safe and secure throughout the tour, being forewarned about the negative situations that exist in the country. There is political unrest, extreme storms, extreme floods and landslides with roads wiped out. The driver was fabulous throughout all of this and the guide provided various options to overcome obstacles. Originally I booked with Tourradar who cancelled the tour but referred me to their contract company, Legend Travel out of Vietnam . Well Legend actually contracts with Exotic and so I wound up working exclusively with Exotic and that was a good thing. I believe they were honest and had options for me as needed. Unlike Legend who immediately told me they could not provide the same rate as Tourradar and also had limited information about the tour causing me to ask many questions for details. Had I known how accommodating Exotic would be, I would have gone directly to them. This tour originally had me going on 6-8 hour public buses by myself (several times) meeting new guides and drivers at each location. I did not understand this procedure previously and didn't learn of it until I asked many questions to Legend as it was not sufficiently explained in the itinerary. As a 72 year old single woman, I didn't feel good about this at all. Exotic however offered me an additional option of a private vehicle with the same driver and same guide throughout the entire tour for another $400 (for fuel costs). What a relief for me! This was never offered to me by Legend, in fact Legend was very difficult to deal with overall and they weren’t even local and in Myanmar. I do not recommend them for booking travel. There was a great deal of financial confusion on my part and Legend wound up being rude and threatening me. They accused me of trying to deceive them when I simply did not understand the charges so I was asking for a credit of what I thought I was overcharged.It took more than 10 messages to finally get them to explain however before this was resolved they threatened to charge my credit card double for taking up so much of their time. I called them unscrupulous but actually they just faulted in communicating information. Bottom line, I highly suggest Legend Travel in Vietnam be avoided for bookings and highly recommend working directly with Exotic Myanmar Travel & Tours. Thank you for reading.

Best of Bagan Tour
So far, i can really say that this has been the best travel so far. I still cant move on — I’m still imagining the beautiful temples and pagodas in Bagan. The driver Mr Kan Thaw was so excellent. Very gentleman. He went to the hotel on time. I enjoyed the tour. Thank you so much.

Exotic Voyages Myanmar
I have traveled for two weeks in Myanmar with Exotic Voyages.I think the travelling plan from the agency was excellent. They were professional and fast in all correspondence and provided a real diverse and nice travel plan. All guides were super helpful, professional and motivated to show us the best sights. Best of Yangon City on your own time
I charter a 10 hours private car for my trip around Yangon City with this company and so far the services has been good .Kyle has been very responsive to my email request and I can contact my driver easily. Mr Min my driver of the day is very patient and helpful throughout my journey to visit all the places of interest .I managed to complete all the places i want to visit within the 10 hours . Even on the last stop i got lost by going out the wrong entrance ,he still managed to find me easily . Very reliable and professional
We booked a bicycle trip to the South of Myanmar with Exotic Myanmar Travel, which was really good and met all our expectations. The agency worked very professionally and efficiently. Mails were answered very quickly and all our questions and wishes were answered well. The tour was very well designed and was changed several times, accordingly to our needs, also during the tour itself. Both guide and driver Spore English. The driver was good and Droge carefuly. The guide cycled with us, spoke exzellent English and explained a lot. Both were really really nice, couteaus and very attentive. It was a pleasure to travel with them. We can Highlights recommend Exotic Myanmar Travel and would always book again. They offer very different tours and excursions and are also helpful in booking Hotels and flights. Outstanding personal travel service
We used Exotic Myanmar Travel and Tour to book trains, hotels, ferries and tours for our 10 day travel in Burma. As independent travels we wanted specific dates and transportation that wasn't readily available on line. Their representative Kyle was quick to response to our questions and sent us the email vouchers. I recommend this company for whatever travel needs you may require for Myanmar.
